Scotty Nguyen To Play At Harrahs Chester PA Poker Room

Posted by admin - 08/12/10 at 12:12 am

Harrahs Chester has introduced their WSOP themed poker room and inaugurates it with a special promotion featuring WSOP pro Scotty Nguyen.

On Friday December 10th, players to the Harrahs Chester poker room will be able to win a chance to meet and beat the prince of poker, Scotty Nguyen.

Scotty is expected in the poker room from 8:30pm until 11:30pm. Players who accumulate entries until December 8th will have a chance at being selected to sit against Scotty Nguyen at his table in the poker room.

Even though you may not win a seat to play against Scotty, I am sure you will have the chance to shake his hand and greet him, during the event.

I personally met Scotty in Las Vegas at Harrahs property during the deep stack tournament held there. Scotty had just won the 2008 WSOP 50K championship and he took a few minutes of his time to converse with me as I congratulated him. Scotty is clearly one of the most congenial professional poker players I have ever met.

And remember, if you have an interesting story to tell about your visit with Scotty, share it here on the PennsylvaniaPokerPlayers.info blog!

(P.S. if you beat Scotty in a hand, let us know, we will feature your story!)

About Scotty Nguyen:

Scotty started his poker career as a dealer at Harrahs poker room in Las Vegas, and eventually turned pro after building a suitable bankroll to play. Scotty travels to most major events on the poker circuit, including the WPT and WSOP.
